Boxers That Hide Erections Dubbed 'Bloxers' Could Spare Guys Many Embarrassing Moments

Boxers That Hide Boners Could Prevent All Manner Of Embarrassing Situations

Let's face it - there's nothing more horrifying than getting a boner in public.

For women, it's embarrassing to look at. And for men, well, it's just kind of mortifying.

Especially if it comes at just the wrong moment - big team conference, anyone?

But now a company in the US has come to the rescue of the highly aroused with 'Bloxers' - a pair of pants that covers a bloke's modesty if he gets a little too excited.

A designer duo from Washington, Chris Woods and Marta Mariño Maza, have designed boxers that are made from a stretch-conforming fabric, which can keep any unwanted erections at bay.

Or at the very least from being seen.

The all-cotton boxers have a hypoallergenic stretch of fabric sewn along the inner seam and at intervals around the leg.

The fabric, which they've aptly dubbed the "deflector shield" covers the crotch entirely and allows guys to grow but at a "controlled pace" while deflecting the erection to one side.

And it's not the first time that erection-hiding underwear has come to the fore.

In September last year, HuffPost UK Lifestyle reported that briefs for men called 'Hiders' (essentially y-front shaped underwear with a reinforced cup) had been invented for guys to wear during "bikini season".

Admittedly, Bloxers are certainly less cringeworthy.

The underwear is currently being crowdfunded on Indiegogo and 25% of profits go towards prostate cancer research.

"Our new product centres on keeping yourself or the men in your life from experiencing the negative effects of what is fundamentally a very good thing," reads the campaign's site.

So guys, not only will you avoid a fatal social faux pas, but you'll also be massively improving your happiness quotient.

Just don't get too happy.
