Designers, fashion editors and the Manhattan elite descended on Clarkson Square last week for New York Men's Fashion Week.
The four-day event, completely devoted to menswear, was hailed as the city's first ever men's fashion week and saw over 40 emerging and established designers showcase their creations.
But while the shows didn't disappoint, what we really noticed were the male models.
Different ethnicities were well represented, unlike on most womenswear catwalks, with 90 models of colour appearing in shows and presentations in the first three days alone.

This Spring has been a big season for Norwich-born newcomer Gos, who's landed a spot in Balenciaga's Spring 2016 lookbook, opened for Topman and Louis Vuitton and starred on the catwalks for Prada and Burberry Prorsum.
Having walked for Alexander McQueen, J.W. Anderson, Burberry Prorsum, and Dior Homme in Europe, New York Men's fashion week saw Grimmer walk his first shows on home soil - the 6'2" 18-year-old hails from Arizona.
New York native Lockley has starred in shows for Ackermann, Tom Ford, and Jil Sander. A computer engineering student, Lockley walked his first show back in January (for Louis Vuitton) and has already become a big hit on the catwalk.
The Canadian model has already racked up work with Tim Coppens, Balmain, Versace, and Patrick Ervell. So far for spring 2016, Scott was spotted Tom Ford’s London runway and Jeremy Scott’s Moschino show at Pitti Uomo.
After only three months in the industry, Hao had already shot for Elle Men Hong Kong, walked for Fendi, and has an upcoming editorial in GQ China. After starring this season at Sacai, Balmain, Valentino, and Paul Smith, Hao made his NYFWM debut at Public School.
