No, this isn't a scene from Eight Legged Freaks - it's an actual weather broadcast from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Meteorologist Garry Frank was showing off the beautiful sunset from a local webcam when a spider, probably regular sized, appeared in front of the camera.
The perspective made the spider look bigger than Frank's head as it went after a fly. Ever the professional, Frank decided to stop reporting on the sunset and give us a play-by-play of the spider's hunt for food.

"We're surprised Frank wasn't more startled than he acted," Aol said. "The spider appeared to be over a foot long when projected onto the green screen behind him."
