Channel 5 have confirmed that this year’s ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ will have a UK vs. USA theme, with famous contestants from both sides of the pond being pitted against each other in what has been dubbed “the ultimate ‘CBB’ battle”.
Following on from the most recent series of ‘CBB’, which saw Perez Hilton rowing with, well, essentially all his British housemates, it has now been officially announced that when the show returns to our screens this August, the house will have undergone a Transatlantic makeover, for a series which promises “an epic trial of tasks, challenges and twists”.
So far, the start date is yet to be confirmed, with this year’s official line-up also being kept under wraps until launch night next month, which will once again be fronted by Emma Willis.

However, if even half of this year’s rumoured contestants put in an appearance, it sounds like we’re in for another explosive few weeks.
Among the British stars tipped to be entering the ‘CBB’ house this time around include former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ cast member Dan Osborne, Atomic Kitten singer Natasha Hamilton and ‘Loose Women’ presenter Sherrie Hewson.
Meanwhile, the famous faces thought to be representing the USA in this summer’s series are supermodel extraordinaire Janice Dickinson, ‘Teen Mom’-turned-pornstar Farah Abraham and rapper Fatman Scoop.
In January, glamour model and reality TV veteran Katie Price was crowned the winner of ‘CBB’, ahead of loose-lipped columnist Katie Hopkins, while Chloe Wilburn was voted the public’s regular ‘Big Brother’ champion last month.
