'Celebrity Big Brother' 2015: House Undergoes Red, White And Blue Makeover For 'UK vs USA' Theme

The New 'CBB' House Is Fabulous, But Hurts Our Eyes A Bit

‘Celebrity Big Brother’ bosses are really taking this summer’s ‘UK vs USA’ theme seriously - if these newly-released photos of the revamped house are anything to go by.

The 16th (!) series of ‘CBB’ kicks off on Thursday night, and will see a host of stars from both sides of the Atlantic being pitted against each other in what has been tipped to be an “epic” battle.

Now fans of the show have been treated to a sneak peek at this year’s residence, ahead of the launch, with the house undergoing a red, white and blue makeover especially for the occasion (we recommend popping on some sunglasses before you look directly at the house’s garish new look).

The 'CBB' lounge

Everywhere you look in the new house there’s iconic imagery from either Britain or the United States, including Union Jack throw-pillows and wallpaper sporting a photo of the New York skyline.

In a truly tasteful move, there’s even a mini version of the Statue Of Liberty in the middle of the swimming pool, to give the American housemates a little taste of home when they lounge in the garden.

The pool has been adorned with its own Lady Liberty

The ‘CBB’ kitchen has also been completely gutted since Chloe Wilburn won the regular series of ‘Big Brother’ last month, and given the look of a 1950s American diner.

Sadly, we’re yet to be given a look at the all-new Diary Room, but we’re guessing that’s going to be just as much of an assault on the eyes a the rest of the house.

Over the weekend, a potential line-up of celebrities for this year’s series was leaked in the press, boasting home-grown talent as well as stars from across the pond.

How very 'Grease'

‘Loose Women’ presenter Sherrie Hewson and Atomic Kitten singer Natasha Hamilton were among the British stars, while rapper Fatman Scoop and supermodel Janice Dickinson are said to be UK-bound for the new series.

Check out the full rumoured line-up below, and don’t forget to tune into the live launch of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ on Thursday night on Channel 5, to see if it’s right...
