Loose Women’s Sherrie Hewson and former ‘X Factor’ contestants Chloe Jasmine Whichello and Stevi Ritchie are among the contestants on the latest series of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.

The Channel 5 reality show launched its 16th series on Thursday (27 August) night, as Emma Willis ushered 12 famous faces into Borehamwood bungalow.

Given the show has a ‘UK VS USA’ theme this year, Sherie, Stevi and Chloe will be on team Blighty, and have been joined by former ‘The Bill’ actor Chris Ellison, TV presenter Gail Porter, ‘The Apprentice’ star James Hill and Atomic Kitten singer Natasha Hamilton.

The Stars and Stripes crew are made up of Playboy model Tila Tequila, porn star Jenna Jameson, ‘Teen Mom’ and sex tape star Farrah Abraham, singer Fatman Scoop, actor Daniel Baldwin and reality star Austin Armacost.

However, two more housemates will enter on Friday (27 August) with former supermodel and 'I'm A Celebrity' star Janice Dickinson and comic Bobby Davro set to take part in a live head-to-head task.

The ‘Big Brother’ house has also been given a makeover, based heavily around the ‘UK VS USA’ theme, featuring a lot of red, white and blue.

It is thought the series will run for five weeks - the show’s longest run ever - following the success of the January edition, which saw Katie Price crowned champion.

‘Celebrity Big Brother’ continues tomorrow night at 9pm on Channel 5.
