‘Strictly Come Dancing' 2015 Odds: Peter Andre Favourite To Win, But There's Bad News For Carol Kirkwood And Jeremy Vine

The Odds Are In! Who's Tipped For 'Strictly' Success?

The 2015 ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ stars are currently getting ready to strut their stuff on the dancefloor, but who’s being tipped for success? And which celebs probably shouldn’t bank on making it to Blackpool?

As always, the stars taking part in the new series come from a variety of backgrounds, and while performers Peter Andre and Jamelia definitely know their shimmies from their shakes, the same can’t be said for all of the contestants.

Two of these stars are being tipped for success

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Peter has been named as the favourite to win by Ladbrokes, who are offering odds of 7/2 on the star.

Georgia May Foote and Jay McGuinness are close behind though, with odds of 5/1, while fans who fancy on a flutter on Helen George or Jamelia, are being offered odds of 6/1 and 8/1, respectively.

Obviously, it’s not good news for everyone, but we reckon 'EastEnders' star Kellie Bright, who is currently at 20/1, could be one of the series’ surprise stars.

Lingering at the tail end of the list are Katie Derham (33/1), Carol Kirkwood (50/1) and Jeremy Vine (66/1).

There’s more bad news for Carol and Jeremy too, as they’re both joint favourites to leave the competition first.

After being paired with their pro dancer partners, the celebs have three weeks to master the basics - and a lift or two - before donning their sequin numbers and facing the judges.

Ahead of the competition, ‘Call The Midwife’ star Helen shared her worries with HuffPost UK, revealing her biggest ‘Strictly’ fear.

“I’m more nervous about all the camera stuff, because I’m not used to just being myself, and talking to the camera,” she explained. “I find it really intimidating. And also just saying things straight down the barrel, and all that stuff is so foreign to me. And not being in character - I’m getting sweaty palms just talking about it!”
