Danny Dyer has a few words of warning for ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge Craig Revel Horwood, ahead of his soap wife, Kellie Bright’s first performance on the show.
MORE 'STRICTLY':
Danny, who plays Mick Carter in ‘EastEnders’ has revealed he’s “very protective” of his soap co-star, admitting that Craig might live to regret it if he gives Kellie one of his infamous acidic putdowns.
Speaking to the Daily Star, he claimed: “I'll be there for the first show, of course. I'm rooting for Kellie.

He also said he fancies her chances of taking the glitter-ball trophy home to Albert Square, claiming: “She's going to be brilliant. I reckon she's got a great chance of winning because the geezer Kevin Clifton who she's dancing with is bang on.
"He's a Grimsby nut although he's smaller than her, which is a bit odd."

Sadly, though, Danny poured water on our dreams of seeing him fake tanned to the nines and decked out in lycra and mesh, insisting he won’t be appearing on ‘Strictly’ any time soon.
“Can you really see me doing all that?” he joked, “It's not my game. There are other ways I can earn money. I've done a book, that's my ‘Strictly’.
"She's got three months' mincing around on the dance floor. I couldn't be doing with that. I'm too lazy."
Kellie recently spoke about Danny’s protective ways, telling HuffPost UK, at this year’s ‘Strictly’ press launch: “He’s quite nervous for me, and I think he feels quite protective of me, like, ‘What if they say nasty things to you in the comments?’
“And I tell him, ‘It’s just like taking direction, they’re only there trying to make you better’. But he’s just like, ‘Oh I couldn’t cope with that’.”
The actress recently revealed her emotional motivation for going on ‘Strictly’, telling Star magazine she was doing the show in memory of her late grandmother.
