Sam appears to have taken a leaf out of Bond’s book, and is seen wearing a dapper black suit, while giving plenty of smoldering looks into the distance.
The track made history last week, as it became the first ‘Bond’ theme to scoop the number-one spot in the official UK singles chart - a feat that no previous act has ever managed to achieve before.
Of course, Sam is no stranger to a chart-topping single, and if ‘The Writing’s On The Wall’ does manage to take the top spot, it’ll be his sixth UK number one single in two years, including his collaborations with Naughty Boy and his appearance on the Band Aid 30 single, ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?’
The ‘Lay Me Down’ singer has admitted that he struggled to keep the fact he’d recorded the film’s theme song a secret, despite having to swear to silence.
"It was about a year of knowing… well a year from when I met Sam Mendes and Barbara Broccoli, and I wasn’t officially told that I’d got it until I’d delivered the song.
“It’s only over the past few weeks that it’s really started to become real life for me. It’s been a dream of mine to do this… for any singer it’s a dream to do this song, and to be honoured with this."
‘Spectre’, Daniel Craig’s fourth appearance as James Bond, is scheduled for release on 26 October.
