James claims that the ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer has had an advantage over the other celebrity contestants because he closed the show on the first week and was then given the penultimate slot on Saturday’s live show.

“I love Peter but I wonder if he will open or close every show? Fairness,” he tweeted.

And despite being the favourite to win this year’s series, James wasn’t a fan of Peter’s routine on Saturday’s show.

He tweeted: “Peter… Not a patch on last week and at times looked like he was trying to shake something out of his trousers.”

After Ola and Iwan were voted off during Sunday night’s elimination show, James went on to accuse the BBC of ‘selling stories’ on his wife.

“Now Ola's out hopefully @bbcstrictly can stop selling horrible stories about her,” he tweeted.

Peter is currently bookies’ favourite to lift the glitterball trophy after topping the leaderboard with 60 points.

More money has been placed on the singer to win than at any time in the history of the competition.

Meanwhile, crew members working on the BBC dance show have branded the Aussie star ‘the vainest ever celebrity in the show’s history’.

According to The Sun, Pete spends so much time in the make-up chair and looking in the mirror that he’s giving the female dancers a run for their money in the maintenance stakes.

“Peter practically lives in the make-up room and wears a huge amount for a man,” a source told the newspaper.
