Ronda Rousey has already proven her worth within the MMA circuit. But could she soon take on the boxing scene, too?
The MMA fighter has proven that she's making huge strides in the sports industry by starring on the cover of boxing magazine 'The Ring'.
Rousey is reportedly the first MMA athlete to ever star on the cover of the magazine. She's also the second woman to grace the front of the publication - the first was Cathy Davis in 1978.
Next to an image of the fighter wearing a pair of boxing gloves, the cover line reads: "She conquered MMA. Is boxing next?"
The female UFC bantamweight champion made headlines earlier this year after saying she'd beat professional boxer Floyd Mayweather in a "no rules" fight.
"Floyd is one of the best boxers of all time. He would definitely beat me in a boxing match," she said in a Reddit AMA thread.
"I unfortunately don't get into 'matches'. I fight for a living. In a no rules fight, I believe I can beat anyone on this planet.
"Boxing is a sweet science with strict rules that I respect very much and aspire every day to improve at. But you said ruleless fight, and that's my honest answer."
