Moschino Fresh Couture Perfume Packages Luxury Fragrance In A 'Cleaning Bottle'

You May Soon Be Using This 'Cleaning Bottle' In Your Beauty Routine

They brought a carwash to the catwalk at Milan Fashion Week, and now Moschino are getting ready to clean up your beauty routine.

The fashion house's latest fragrance, Fresh Couture, may have been concocted by expert noses with the finest notes...

But you'd never guess from looking at the bottle.

Inspired by Moschino's spring/summer 2016 collection, and their similar sell-out phone case, the perfume's blue juice is housed inside a glass 'cleaning bottle'.

The scent itself is described by the brand as "modern, fresh and joyful", with top notes of mandarin, bergamot and exotic ylang-ylang; a heart of juicy raspberry, velvety white peony and osmanthus; and a refined base of clear woods, white patchouli and ambrox.

The advertising campaign is every inch as eye-catching as the flacon. Shot by photographer Steven Meisel, art directed by Moschino's creative director Jeremy Scott, and starring 90s supermodel Linda Evangelista.

Moschino say the concept for Fresh Couture was to ironically juxtapose a mundane, commonplace household product with a precious, luxury fragrance.

"It creates the ultimate dichotomy of high and low, What could be more Moschino than that?” they said.

Seeing as they're the couture fashion label that based previous collections on Barbie and McDonalds, we definitely have to agree.

Moschino Fresh Couture Eau De Toilette is available exclusively at Selfridges from 5 November, in 30ml (£37), 50ml (£54) and 100ml (£70).
