Gleb was unable to attend the filming of ‘Strictly’ spin-off, ‘It Takes Two’, as he was in hospital, being treated for a mysterious allergic reaction.
His celebrity partner, Anita Rani, told presenter Zoe Ball: “We don't know [the cause]… he went to the doctor and his beautiful face was swelling in a rather alarming way.”

Fortunately, it’s expected that he’ll make a full recovery by Saturday’s live show, as Anita added: “I have heard he'll be fine. Get well soon Gleb!”
Gleb later shared a photo of his swollen face with his Instagram followers, writing: “Had a terrible allergy reaction....hope I'll recovered in time for Saturday.”
Anita and Gleb have made it thus far in the competition without being in the bottom two, getting their first ‘10’ from the judges two weeks ago, at Blackpool tower.
This week, the remaining six couples will be strutting their stuff to songs from musicals, with Anita performing the Argentine Tango to the ‘Cell Block Tango’ from ‘Chicago’.
Jay McGuiness and Aliona Vilani will dance the Rumba to ‘Falling Slowly’ from ‘Once’, while Georgia May Foote will channel her inner Disney princess, and dance the Foxtrot to the title song from ‘Beauty And The Beast’.
Check out the fill list of songs and dances here, ahead of Movie Week on Saturday’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, at 7pm on BBC One.
