"I just reported David Cameron's Facebook page for being violent. You should do too!" a London resident tweeted.
Filmmaker Ben Hopper, is one of the many UK residents protesting the vote on Syria, by reporting the Prime Minister's official page to the social media giant.
He posted a video explaining the process:
Reporting a page is a relatively simple process. All you have to do is press 'Report Page' found in the top right hand corner of the cover image.
Facebook will then send you this message as a confirmation:
Those choosing this form of protest agree the action is unlikely to make any difference to Syria but still say it alleviates their sense of helplessness as the UK forges ahead with airstrikes.
In the wake of yesterday's controversial vote 17-year-old Cait tweeted: "Reported David Cameron's Facebook page for "credible threat of violence" ain't gonna do anything but satisfying all the same."
Cameron defended the decision on his page, stating: "I believe the House has taken the right decision to keep the UK safe - military action in Syria as one part of a broader strategy."
