Vicky Pattison has been crowned Queen of the Jungle, following this year’s ‘I’m A Celebrity’ live final.
The MTV reality star triumphed over Union J singer George Shelley and former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ cast member Ferne McCann, who finished in second and third place, respectively.
This year's top two contestants raise a toast
Unable to control her excitement, Vicky leapt for joy as she was announced as this year’s champion, joking to presenters Ant and Dec: “I think yous have made a mistake!”
An emotional Vicky was then finally able to take her seat on the jungle throne, and was given her crown by last year’s victor, Carl Fogarty.
She said: “I can’t thank everyone who voted for me enough. I don’t even think i deserve it!
“Thank you everyone so much… I’m probably going to have to pay for me mam and all me friends’ phone bills now.”
Vicky takes her seat on the jungle throne
Shortly before her coronation, Vicky had told Ant and Dec that she’d hoped her stint in the jungle would allow the British public to see a side to her not previously shown on ‘Geordie Shore’ and ‘Ex On The Beach’.
When asked whether she wanted people to other aspects to her personality, she explained: “I would like to think so.
“I bet everyone thought I’d go in there and be chucking kangaroos around and kicking off. But that’s not me, that’s just one side of me. I hope everyone has seen the real me.”
This year’s finale also proved controversial with some fans of the ITV show, who were critical of Ferne’s last Bushtucker Trial, which saw her eat a live water spider, in order to win meals for her campmates.
