Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi released a chilling call to arms on Boxing Day.
In it he said Western countries "do not dare send their troops against us" but that "the entire world has joined forces against us".
He went on to assuage any fears his followers have by saying "our state persists and expands".
