Winter Storm Jonas has thrown the East Coast of America into chaos with tons of snow covering cities, leaving thousands without power.

It's also prompted a rather bizarre, perhaps somewhat foolish, trend whereby people don skimpy swimming outfits and dive headfirst into freezing, fluffy white mounds.
