The former ‘TOWIE’ star left the house during Tuesday night’s live eviction, to an unrelenting chorus of boos, though it didn’t sound as if she was letting the negative reception get her down.
She told presenter Emma Willis: “Do you know what? I take it as a compliment, Emma. There’s always going to be a pantomime villain somewhere. I know who I am as a person and honestly it doesn’t faze me one bit.”

The boos and jeers continued throughout her exit interview, with the crowd chanting “off! off! off” while she spoke to Emma Willis.
During her time in ‘CBB’, Gemma had a particularly tough time with the various tasks thrown at the housemates, many of which she refused to take part in.
Admitting her lack of team spirit probably played its part in her being voted out, she added: “Do you know what? I’ve had an amazing time, but I do feel there was other people in the house who were much better at the tasks than me, that deserved to go on and win the show. I’m not a task type of girl.”

Despite falling at the last hurdle, Gemma was responsible for some of this year’s most memorable ‘CBB’ moments, including her infamous “non-Essex” blowdry, and the fabulous moment she trotted around the garden with Tony the Pony.
Gemma’s departure leaves just six housemates in the ‘CBB’ house, with either Danniella Westbrook, Darren Day, John Partridge, Scotty T, Stephanie Davis or Tiffany Pollard being crowned winner in Friday’s live final.
