Ant and Dec are getting the new series of ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ off with a bang, by pulling an epic prank on one of Britain’s biggest exports, James Corden.

The Geordie duo had a string of tricks up their sleeve for James when filming the stunt, which will air during Saturday's show, as he tried to go about his business behind the scenes of his US talk show, ‘The Late, Late Show’.
When James pulled up in his car (surprisingly without a celebrity in it, for a change), he was shocked to find his parking space had been taken up by a delivery truck - but what he didn’t realise was that Ant and Dec were instructing a security guard to make things as hard as possible for him via an earpiece.
This is not the face of a man happy to share his parking space
For their piece de resistance, though, they took things up a notch, and went undercover as participants in a fake quiz called ‘Face Your Fiancé’.
Over a videolink, the pair donned wigs and prosthetics to make James believe they were the fiancés of two ‘Late, Late Show’ audience members taking part in a quiz for recently-engaged couples.
Unfortunately for James, things took an unfortunate turn when the pre-written questions became increasingly personal, culminating in Ant’s fake persona suffering an accident there and then.
James Corden was shocked by the prank
Find out how he reacts to the prank when ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ returns to our screens for its 13th series on Saturday night, kicking off at 7pm on ITV.
As well as their prank on James, Michael Sheen will be serving as guest announcer, and Stephen Mulhern will be presiding over a new round of ‘Ant vs. Dec’.
There'a also a new 'Who Shot Simon Cowell?' skit series, which looks totally ridiculous (and brilliant).
