A comedian claims he was arrested by the Secret Service on Tuesday for trying to throw a two-foot glittery dildo at Donald Trump during a campaign rally.
Elijah Daniel, best known for penning Donald-themed gay sex novel 'Trump Temptation: The Billionaire And The Bellboy', shared a photo on his Twitter from directly in front of the podium at 5:35pm GMT, but by 8pm a friend had taken control of his account to update his followers.
"this is @csydelko I think the secret service just arrested elijah," fellow comic Christine Sydelko wrote from Daniel's account.
And, as photo evidence seems to prove, it wasn't a joke.
And this is why he was being questioned.
Despite his intrepid efforts, sadly he was unable to deliver the payload and the situation had a rather understandable outcome.
At least you tried, Elijah.
