The Queen has made an appearance at the Braemar Royal Highland Gathering in Aberdeenshire.
She was joined by the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales and the Princess Royal in the annual event at the Princess Royal and Duke of Fife Memorial Park, Braemar.
The Queen took time to meet a Highland dancer during the event. Wearing a pink hat, cream-checked coat and black gloves, she was joined by Charles, who wore a kilt.
Anne wore a crimson coat, dark blue hat and light blue kilt.
Both the Queen and Princess Royal were each seen holding heather posies while they watched the event on Saturday.
The gathering is a popular event every year which attracts thousands of visitors to the village to enjoy the traditional highland games and events.
The games are held on the first Saturday of every September and attracts visitors who watch a variety of traditional events and competitions including piping, Highland dancing and tug-of-war contests.
The royals traditionally attend a church service at Crathie Kirk nearby the day after the games.
