Not only is this dizzying image of Tokyo spectacular, it's also one of the largest photos in the world.

The 150 gigapixel behemoth shows the Japanese capital in full zoomable glory at an astounding resolution.

It was taken by Jeffery Martin, founder of 360cities who is also responsible for the world's largest photo, a 320 gigapixel image of London.

Martin took 10,000 images with a Canon 7D digital SLR fitted with a Canon 400-mm f5.6 L lens in September last year from the top of Tokyo Tower.

Such was the epic size of the information gathered it took a Fujitsu Celsius R920 12-core processor computer with 192GB of RAM 12 weeks to process the final image, reports Gizmag.
