No? Well, you're not alone because according to a recent survey by Heinz, only 21% of us are eating the right daily amounts of our essential fruit and vegetables.

Despite 79% knowing that we need to chomp our way through our five-a-day, many find excuses to shun the veggies, with 52% saying it's too difficult to plan ahead and a quarter of women blaming the strain on their purse strings.

Most surprisingly, 46% didn't know what counted as their five-a-day, with 7% believing that a bowl of chips was all you needed or that your favourite pasta dish would make the grade.
