Thousands lined to streets of east London on Monday to say a final farewell to Bob Crow, the former general secretary of the RMT union, who died earlier this month.
The 52-year-old's coffin was pulled through the streets from Woodford to Manor Park by a horse drawn carriage. Banners and home made signs adorned the route; many gave the salute of the socialist worker, a single raised fist. Some applauded at the hearse passed by. Others simply held a rose for their fallen leader.
