WHO? Topshop Unique, the high street label's premium brand.

IN A NUTSHELL: It was a little bit grungy, a little bit military and a little bit 70s lounge lizard. Marching to the beat of Roxy Music's Love Is The Drug remixed, this was a collection that was about urban, street smart dressing - with plenty of leather, glitz and attitude.

BEG, BORROW OR STEAL: Outerwear was star performer this afternoon, and we just loved the mannish oversized double-breasted wool overcoats and huge biker jackets in shaved faux fur. Kilts were also a must-have, falling to midi lenths and incorporating leather and wool panels as were the slouchy leather trousers. For evening there were velvet dungarees and body-skimming lurex dresses with tough gunmetal zips.

F-ROW: The Green clan (no surprises there), plus Pixie Geldof, Alexa Chung, Nicola Roberts and Olivia Palermo.

VERDICT: Last season we weren't convinced by Unique's hieroglyph emblazoned collection. This season it was less about clever concepts and styling and all about creating an understatedly hip wardrobe for the London girl - and let's face it, that's exactly what put Topshop on the fashion map in the first place. We just hope this attitude continues.
