Adele has fallen victim to a hacker who stole private photos of the star, including a baby scan of her son Angelo.
The hacker, believed to be a huge fan of the singer, reportedly accessed the photographs via the email account of Adele’s boyfriend, Simon Konecki.
The pictures, which also included images of her newborn swaddled in blankets, were circulated on a Facebook fan page.
But it is the theft of the pregnancy scan of Angelo that is most likely to trouble Adele, who is notoriously protective of her three-year-old son.
After the snaps were shared with a group of the 27-year-old’s fans, one of them contacted her management who then took down the singer’s social media accounts.
The whistle-blowing fan told The Sun on Sunday: “I was appalled and upset for Adele when I saw the pictures. They are really private and should not be passed around.
Adele has previously spoken of her need to protect her privacy, especially now she is a mother.
She said: “People think I hate being famous. I don’t. I’m really frightened of it. Watching Amy [Winehouse] deteriorate is one of the reasons I’m a bit frightened. We were all very entertained by her being a mess.
“I was f***ing sad about it. That level of attention is frightening.”
Speaking about the photos hack, a source told The Sun: “It is exactly this sort of thing that Adele does not like about fame.
The ‘Hello’ singer revealed she will be belting out her hits on the Pyramid Stage during one of her gigs at London’s O2 Arena on Friday night.
She will join Coldplay and Muse at the top of the bill when the festival takes place in June.
