Adele has announced she is finally going on tour in 2016.

The singer will travel to various European cities, including 12 UK dates, four of which are at London’s O2 Arena.

The tour kicks off in Belfast on 29 February, travelling to Dublin, Manchester, London, Glasgow and Birmingham before moving on to Stockholm, Oslo, Berlin, Hamburg, Zurich, Lisbon, Verona, Amsterdam and Paris, before finishing up in Antwerp, Belgium on 13 June.

Adele announced the news in a special video posted on Twitter, admitting that she had been “bluffing” about her indecision to tour her new album.

“Hello, it’s me, Adele,” she said before bursting into laughter. “I can’t even say that any more.

“I’ve been bluffing this whole time, and I’m so relieved to tell you that I am, of course, coming on tour and I can’t wait to see all of you there.

“See you all very, very soon!”

UK advance tickets go on sale Tuesday 1 December at 9am, while EU advance tickets go on sale Wednesday 2 December at 9am GMT.

Tickets go on general sale on Friday 4 December at 9am.
