Adidas is launching some rainbow-coloured trainers to celebrate Pride and the LGBTQ community – and we’re in love.
The collection has given makeovers to some of the brand’s most popular shoes including the Continental 80, the Ultraboost 19 and the Adilette sliders, according to Hypebeast.
Our personal favourite is the redesigned Continental 80 trainer, which will feature go-faster rainbow stripes, as well as a multi-coloured Adidas Trefoil logo on the tongue and inside the shoe. A great, everyday trainer and incredibly comfy – perfect for all that dancing you’ll be doing during Pride celebrations.
Also getting the Pride makeover is the brand’s popular running trainer, the Ultraboost 19.
Expect a multicoloured weave on the side panels and heel area as well as the Adidas label on the tongue, and orange stripes on the toe of the shoe and yellow edging on the see-through cage. These ones are said to be great for long runs and everyday use.
Like them or loathe them, Adidas sliders are next up. White soles with three colours of the rainbow (purple, blue, and green) across the strap on the shoe we can see (we presume the left foot has yellow, orange and red) with a white Trefoil logo. Wear these with rainbow socks for double the impact.
The collection is out on 1 June online. Watch this space.
