TV chef Ainsley Harriott has separated from his wife of 23 years.
The former Ready, Steady, Cook presenter has called it quits with former costume designer Clare Fellows, the mum of his two kids.
A spokesman said: “Following media speculation, Ainsley and Clare confirm that they are currently living apart.
Their separation is completely amicable and, as yet, they have no definite plans for the future.
“They remain close and, together with their family, they ask that their privacy be respected. They will be making no further comment.”
Opening up about their marriage several years ago, Ainsley gushed: “My wife Clare, she’s wonderful. I’m spoiled, but then she gets all those lovely meals cooked for her.”
The couple’s marriage was rocked in 2004 by reports Ainsley had an affair.
