Alec Baldwin Uses English Accent To Ask Piers Morgan Whether He's Ever Been In Love (VIDEO)

WATCH: Alec Baldwin Asks Piers Morgan An Intimate Question... In An English Accent

Alec Baldwin appeared on Piers Morgan's US TV show, Piers Morgan Tonight on Wednesday evening, and asked a rather intimate question of the infamous host: "Have you, Piers, ever been properly in love?"

An interesting enough question, you might think - but it turns out Alec was posing this query of queries in a plummy English accent.

US bloggers have taken it to be Baldwin's attempt at impersonating the one-time editor of the Daily Mirror - and to be fair, Morgan does at one point refer to it as such - but by us it just looks like Alec's put on a silly British voice to amuse himself.

As for Morgan's answer, it was just as slick as you'd expect from the CNN interviewer extraordinaire: "I have been properly in love, and I was about to ask you how many times you've been properly in love in your life?"

And the reply to that one? Well, you'll have to check it out for yourself - but know this: it's delivered in the very same posh English accent. What ho!

Still, it's nice to see the two media icons getting along so well... especially when you remember Piers' big interviewing snafu late last year, when Tea Party Republican Christine O'Donnell got up and left the show half way through his questions. Rough with the smooth, Piers, rough with the smooth...
