Darcey Bussell has been confirmed as Alesha Dixon's replacement on the next series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The 42-year-old has agreed to a £100,000 deal to join judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood, after appearing as a guest judge in 2009.
Alesha previously replaced former Strictly judge Arlene Phillips, after appearing on the show as a contestant. The BBC received criticism that it chose Alesha, who is 36 years younger than her predecessor, due to her age.
Alesha later moved from Strictly to take a seat on the judging panel of Simon Cowell's Britain's Got Talent.
Darcey Bussell started dancing at 13, going on to become a principal dancer with the Royal Ballet. She has been dubbed one of the greatest English ballerinas of all time.
