Sir Alex Ferguson's 1,500th and final match in charge as Manchester United manager ended in enthralling fashion as West Bromwich Albion fought back to draw 5-5 at the Hawthorns.

Ferguson was granted a guard of honour by both teams before waving to the travelling United fans, who brought a nostalgic 70s vibrance to the terraces, serenading the Scot's successor David Moyes to the tune of Slade.
