He's been a Liverpool FC stalwart for 15 years, and Steven Gerrard's achievement was honoured with his very own Testimonial Gala Dinner at the Liverpool Echo Arena on Saturday night.
But, as is often the case with footballers and their wives, he was rather upstaged by his partner Alex Gerrard, who looked stunning in a printed strapless maxidress, which featured an eye-catching front split.
Following a Liverpool match against Olympiakos earlier in the day, the Gerrard family got their glad rags on for the big evening event.
Alex tweeted: "So excited for today, such a big day for my husband! #veryproud." Aww.
She paired her statement frock with gold-accented heels and chunky gold cuffs, not forgetting the finishing touches, like perfectly coiffed curls and a red manicure.
