Cross-dressing cagefighter Alex Reid has called off his engagement to Chantelle Houghton following a number of blazing rows.
Chantelle, who is heavily pregnant with Alex's child, was left upset last month after discovering her fiance had been sending messages to a teenage model.
Now their relationship is apparently in crisis because of her interfering pals.
A source told The Sun that Alex has been left in tears over the last month because he believes her friends are poking their noses into their business.
Alex reportedly told the source: "I've told Chantelle I'm not marrying her when things are like this.
"Friends keep pushing her to say things about us that aren't true and keep poking their noses into our lives no matter how much it hurts me."
The news comes as Alex's ex Katie Price prepares to marry Argentinian model Leandro Penna. Alex has apparently wished Leandro good luck with the marriage, adding: "You'll need it."
