This is Alex Salmond's charity Christmas card.
Don't get us wrong, it's a glorious piece of art - but it's a bit... scary.
The artwork depicts story of Artaban in the 1895 novel by American author Henry van Dyke.
Artaban arrives too late to celebrate the birth of Jesus and ends up becoming an old man as he still searches for Jesus.
During this time he rescues a girl from slavery but remains troubled he never found the son of God.
As he dies he receives a vision telling him his act to help the girl has secured him a place in Heaven.
"The story reminds us that hope, faith and self-sacrifice are at the centre of the order of things."
What do you make of it?
