It was only a matter of time before Alexa Chung was snapped up by a beauty brand. However - it's not just a modelling spot she's landed.
Chung is teaming up with British eye makeup brand Eyeko to develop her own capsule collection. As queen of the cat-eye flick, this collaboration has got to be a match made in heaven (Eyeko specialises in liquid eyeliners).
In an interview with Vogue, Chung reminisces about the time she discovered the Eyeko eyeliner pen on a shoot. So - how did she end up working with the brand?
"I met up with Max from Eyeko and we got along very well, I was inspired by his energy and the products themselves", she told Vogue. "So I started scribbling down ideas about how they could improve them and coming up with little puns that I could see or imagine on the barrels of the tubes. I just felt the whole company seemed fun and it got my creative juices flowing and it became quite an organic collaboration".
No news yet on when the model's first Eyeko range will launch but something tells us that any eyeliner with Alexa's name behind it will be a sell-out.
