Alexis Sánchez trained with his Arsenal teammates in full view of the cameras for the first time on Friday.
Sánchez joined the FA Cup winners for £35 million from Barcelona last month and remains the costliest acquisition made by a Premier League club this summer.
The Chilean, who scored twice at the World Cup, is the Gunners' second most expensive signing after the £42.4m arrival of Mesut Özil last year.
Sánchez could make his Arsenal bow in the Emirates Cup this weekend when they host Benfica on Saturday and Monaco on Sunday, with Valencia making up the four-team tournament.
The 25-year-old winger should then make his competitive debut at Wembley next week, when Arsenal face Manchester City in the Community Shield.
