Amanda Holden Shades Phillip Schofield Amid Reports Of A Fall-Out

Ouch.

Amanda Holden has taken aim at Phillip Schofield, amid rumours the two have had a falling out.

The TV personalities were initially thought to have had a good relationship, with Amanda even co-presenting This Morning with Phillip in 2015 when Holly Willoughby was last on maternity leave.

However, it’s since been claimed that things have turned a little sour between them, which Amanda seems in no mood to dispel.

During her fourth day presenting Heart’s breakfast show, co-host Jamie Theakston put some quickfire questions to her in a segment called Holden’s Hot Seat, which included asking Amanda which three things she’d least like to find in her home.

“Spiders, flies,” Amanda began, before adding, “And Phillip Schofield.”

According to The Sun, the pair’s beef began last year, after Amanda was initially approached to fill on This Morning a second time, when Holly was in Australia presenting I’m A Celebrity.

The newspaper has quoted a source who claims Amanda was then taken out for dinner by ITV executives, where she was told she wouldn’t be getting the gig after all, and suggested that Phillip influenced the decision.

Instead, the role went to occasional This Morning host Rochelle Humes.

HuffPost UK has contacted Phillip Schofield’s representative for further comment.

Amanda recently wrapped up her 13th series as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, which was won by 89-year-old singer Colin Thackery.

She’ll be back on the panel later this year, when the show returns for a special All Stars series, confirmed during the BGT final on Sunday night, which follows the success of America’s Got Talent: The Champions in the US.
