14-year-old Dutch girl has been arrested over a tweet sent to American Airlines at the weekend, police have confirmed.
A spokesman for Rotterdam police confirmed to the Huffington Post UK that a teenager was arrested on Monday afternoon over the social media incident, but would not give further details.
On Sunday a girl claiming to be 14 tweeted at the airline, saying she was called Ibrahim and from Afghanistan.

"I'm part of Al Qaida and on June 1st I'm gonna do something really big bye", she wrote on the social networking site.
She deleted the tweets after American Airlines said they had passed her details onto the FBI. Her Twitter account appeared to have been suspended on Monday afternoon.
However the move prompted a public meltdown on the social networking site, with the girl insisting that she "was joking and it was my friend not me, take her IP address not mine."
"I was kidding pls don't I'm just a girl pls. and I'm not from Afghanistan," she wrote.
She later pleaded that she was a "white girl" and not a terrorist.
However other Twitter users were not so sympathetic. One wrote: "I hope you go to jail," while another said "She's going down".
