A new electric scooter which can fit in a suitcase might just be the vehicle of the future - that is if the Egg Car doesn't get there first.
Israeli designer Amir Zaid has come up with the miniature scooter for commuters who need an extra boost to get to work in the morning.
The all-electric MUV-e has three wheels, a rounded design and can run for 10 miles on a single charge.

The scooter weighs about 30 pounds, can hit 15 mph and folds up into a small rolling 'suitcase' form factor.
Zaid estimates a production model would cost about $2,000 to $3,000 depending on the specs.
He told Israel21X that he didn't imitate the famous Segway's lean-in controls to make it easier for new users.
"We didn't want it to be awkward or force people to get used to gyroscopes or strange mechanisms," he said.
The scooter is partly funded by Autodesk through its Clean Tech program. Currently it's just a prototype, but here's hoping that it comes to fruition soon. And that someone can figure out how to attach LEDs and use it for the next great timelapse 'light painting'.
