Amy Hart Quits Love Island Following Curtis Pritchard Split

The Islander recently ended her romance with Curtis Pritchard, having been partnered with him since the beginning of the series.

Amy Hart has quit Love Island following a turbulent week in the villa, it has been confirmed.

Viewers will see her exit in tomorrow night’s (Tuesday 9 July) episode.

Last week, viewers saw Amy ending her romance with ballroom dancer Curtis Pritchard, after he admitted his head had been turned by a newcomer while his half-girlfriend was in Casa Amor.

Since then, it’s been a difficult time in the villa for Amy, who has frequently been seen in tears, leading to almost 200 complaints to Ofcom from viewers concerned about the way she’d been treated.

Following this, a Love Island rep was forced to speak out to dismiss reports she had “left the villa” in order to speak to one of the show’s psychiatrists.

Recent episodes of the show have seen Maura Higgins expressing an interest in Curtis, while receiving dance lessons from the professional ballroom dancer.

Amy is the second of this year’s Love Island contestants to leave via the back door, with Sherif Lanre mutually agreeing with producers that he should step down after a moment of accidental physical contact with a fellow islander, which he then followed with an inappropriate joke.

Two more couples are set to leave the show tonight (July 8), when the results of the latest public vote are revealed.

While the pair who received the fewest votes to save will be immediately shown the door, the remaining contestants will then have to choose whether it’s the second or third least popular couples who should also lose their place in the villa.
