‘Strictly Come Dancing’ pro Brendan Cole has admitted that it was time for him and Anastacia to leave the competition, following their elimination on Sunday (30 October).
The duo found themselves in the dance-off against Daisy Lowe and Aljaž Škorjanec, with the ‘I’m Outta Love’ singer fighting back tears as the judges gave their verdicts.
Writing in his new Digital Spy column, Brendan says: “Our time came, we were the worst on the leaderboard, so I think it’s probably right that we went.
Brendan has also heaped praise on Ed Balls, insisting that the former MP still deserves his spot in the competition.
“Ed and Kat did a great job this week,” he writes. “They got their dance spot on - Katya choreographed a really, really good routine for him.
We have to say that if you haven’t seen Ed’s dance, you’ve seriously missed out.
Not only were we left speechless, but even the judges struggled to put sentences together to describe it.
