My Girl star Anna Chlumsky wowed in a red dress on The Iron Lady red carpet in New York last night, marking what could become a return to the limelight for the former child star.
Chlumsky was just 11 when she starred as the adorable Vada Sultenfuss in the 1991 movie My Girl, alongside Macauley Culkin.
But unlike Culkin, Chlumsky, now 31, chose college over spending her teen years on screen. She credits her break from acting with preventing her from going off the rails like many child actors, including her most famous co-star.
In recent years, Chlumsky has appeared in numerous American TV series such as 30 Rock, In The Loop and Law and Order, but will make her starring comeback next year in new comedy Veep, alongside Julia Louise-Dreyfus.
The series is loosely based on BBC series The Thick Of It, and tells the story of Senator Selina Meyer's run as Vice President of the United States.
