Ever wondered what a wedding hosted by fashion's finest Anna Wintour looks like? Well you're in luck.
The American Vogue mogul laid on the nuptials for her son, Charlie Shaffer, and his bride Elizabeth Cordry at her Long Island home this weekend and the whole affair was fabulous - just as we predicted.
With guests including Prabal Gurung, Mario Testino and Oscar de la Renta there was nothing but incredible style inspiration at every turn, and the influx of Instagram pictures of the big day (which FYI live under the hashtag #ThisMasticMoment) showed off the ceremony and reception in all its magical glory.
The fashion executive bride gave Olivia Palermo and - dare we say it? - Kate Middleton a run for their wedding dress money in a stunning lace gown designed by Oscar de la Renta. The flower girls? Custom made Alexander McQueen. The bridesmaids? Prada.
According to reports, a violinist serenaded the crowd from a treehouse above the bar, and Chelsea Leyland served as DJ for the evening. Now if that isn't what wedding dreams are made of we don't know what is.
No doubt proud mother-of-the-groom Wintour was dressed in a colourful Chanel shift, teamed with a statement necklace... And oversized sunglasses, of course!
Wintour recently talked about how she feels about strangers - who she'll probably have to hang out with at her son's nuptials - saying: "The worst are those people whom you've never met in your life that want to hug you in a major embrace."
