The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, has found herself an unlikely fan in the form of Oscar-winning actress Anne Hathaway.
The 31-year-old said K-Middy is her favourite royal, simply because she makes her happy. Bless her little Les Miserables socks.
Having starred as a princess herself in The Princess Diaries, Anne was reportedly asked by a six-year-old fan who her favourite princess was.
According to Hello!the Hollywood starlet told her young fan that she was her favourite princess before saying Kate was her number one princess.
"My favourite princess is Kate Middleton," she said before getting confused over whether Kate was actually a princess at all. "But she's a duchess. She's a princess too, right? I'll go with Kate Middleton."
When questioned further by her six-year-old interrogator Anne admitted she thinks that the Duchess of Cambridge, who is currently on a three-week tour of New Zealand and Australia with Prince William and eight-month-old Prince George, "is lovely".
Speaking on Good Morning America, Anne said: "I think she's lovely. She makes me very happy and that royal wedding just could not be beat."
But Anne isn't the only famous face who's a fan of Kate. Reality television star Kourtney Kardashian recently revealed she is also a duchess devotee.
"'I love how she mixes designer pieces with price-friendly fashion that is accessible for women worldwide," she told Hello! in February.
