Wednesday's prime minister's questions was dominated by accusations from Ed Miliband that David Cameron had lost control of his party in the wake of the rebellion against Lords reform.
The Labour leader enjoyed mocking the prime minister for having a bust-up with leading Tory rebel Jesse Norman, pointing out he is prone to losing his cool.
"The redder he gets the less he convinces people. He didn't just lose the confidence of his party last night, he is losing the confidence of the country," Miliband said.
However it was not Cameron that became the most red faced in response to Labour jeers, but rather backbencher Anne Marie Morris, who launched into a loyalist outburst on the merits of the government's education policies.
The little-known MP's vocal show of support was met with cheers from the government benches, not that any of them knew what she was saying, of course.
