Michael and Joanna’s awkward reunion was somewhat overshadowed on Sunday’s Love Island Aftersun, thanks to a rather excitable appearance from Anton’s mum.
Sherrie-Ann Danyluk became somewhat of an internet sensation after she sat in the audience on the spin-off show.
Fans of the ITV2 series had already been curious about Sherrie-Ann, following Anton’s admission in the villa that his mum regularly shaves his bum, and they finally got to meet the woman behind the Bic razor on Sunday’s show.
Host Caroline Flack threw to her in the audience to ask for her thoughts on Anton’s relationship with fellow contestant Belle, and what followed was, well, watch for yourself...
Then asked if she missed shaving her son’s bum hair, she enthusiastically responded: “Aye!”
But Sherrie-Ann’s time on the show did not end there, as when it was time to reunite former couple Michael and Joanna following his admission he still had feelings for Amber, she had some words of advice for Joanna.
Heckling from the audience, she could be heard shouting: “Don’t do it, Joanna!”
The whole episode had viewers in hysterics, and it was clear Sherrie-Ann was the stand-out star of the show...
The person running Anton’s Twitter account while he is in the villa also hailed Sherrie-Ann as a “icon”, and said reading everyone’s tweets about her were “hilarious”.
It might not be the last we see of Sherrie-Ann either, as usually the last week of the series features a visit from the contestants’ parents.
We’re sure we’re not alone in saying we cannot wait to see her in that villa.
