WHO? Antonio Berardi

IN A NUTSHELL: Berardi's fascintation with strong warrior women has remained for a few seasons now, and this time around she was slicker, fiercer and a bit more tailored. Steely grey column dresses were embellished with sequins but resembled armour, while silver structured jackets with rounded shoulders took on an almost armadillo-like quality. Berardi has carved a niche for creating dresses for the post-modern bride, and there were plenty of white cocktail dresses and full-length gowns to chose from.
BEG, BORROW OR STEAL: For us, it has to be the persimmon wide-leg trousers and top teamed with an impeccably tailored pale pink overcoat. It shouldn't have worked, but it just did. We also loved the white cocktail dresses embellished with what looks like shards of white ceramics.
F-ROW: Olivia Palermo and Vogue's Alexandra Schulman.
VERDICT: This was a collection of strong, bold and beautifully cut clothing that was both unique and wearable - not an easy thing to pull off. And we have no doubt that Berardi's warrior women will find is easy to slot these pieces into their fashion arsenal.
