Aretha Franklin has revealed her "wish list" of actors for a biopic about her life - she wants Nia Long, Kerry Washington and Blair Underwood to sign up for roles.
The Queen of Soul has previously stated that Halle Berry would be her top choice to play her in a movie, despite the actress claiming she wouldn't be able to take the part because she can't sing.
Now Franklin has detailed more stars she'd ideally like in the film - including Long as older sister Erma Franklin, according to the singer's spokeswoman.
The singer has also set her sights on Washington playing her younger sister Carolyn, and she wants actor Underwood as her brother Cecil.
But the representative insists the names are merely a "wish list" and no actors have yet been contacted about any roles, reports the New York Daily News.
The rep also reveals Franklin is scheduled to meet with the "director and financiers... to discuss her final casting selections for the biopic", which is to be titled From These Roots, based on her 1999 autobiography.
