Ariana Grande has announced that she and her boyfriend Dalton Gomez are engaged.
The chart-topping singer revealed the news in an Instagram post on Sunday night, sharing a number of pictures of herself and the California real estate agent.
“Forever n them some,” she wrote alongside a slideshow of photos, including a close-up of her eye-catching engagement ring.
According to TMZ, the two began dating earlier this year, with Ariana first choosing to confirm the relationship in the music video for her Justin Bieber collaboration Stuck With U.
She’s largely kept the romance private from her fans, but has shared occasional snaps of Dalton on Instagram, including a special birthday post back in August.
“HBD to my baby my best friend my fav part of all the days,” she wrote at the time. “I love u.”
It’s been another big year for Ariana, both in her personal and professional life.
As well as teaming up with Justin Bieber for the charity single Stuck With U, she also topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic with her Lady Gaga collaboration Rain On Me, and recently appeared on a festive remix of Mariah Carey’s Oh Santa! with Jennifer Hudson.
She also released her sixth studio album Positions in October, preceded by the number one single of the same name, which was reportedly inspired by her relationship with Dalton.
Her engagement news came the night before her concert film Ariana Grande: Excuse Me, I Love You – filmed during her Sweetener world tour last year – debuted on Netflix.
Ariana was previously engaged to Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson, and was in a long-term relationship with the late rapper Mac Miller prior to that.
